DDA
Our commitment to the Disability Discrimination Act
In a recent survey 42% of obstacles for public access were steps. The handrails we supply are a cost effective way to provide buildings with safer access points.
May 2004 saw the introduction of the UK's Building Regulations 2000, Access to and Use of Buildings, Part M1 and M2 stipulating the handrails needed to be "slip resistant and not cold to the touch". One of the products we supply is called 'plascoat' This material forms a non slip and 'warm' feel coating.
